While some people consider it the hottest social media network, other people simply do not understand how to use Goggle Plus for business, let alone for personal use. Admittedly, Google Plus is not exactly the most intuitive social network, but used correctly, it provides a valuable marketing tool for your business, and even novices can learn how to use google plus for business. Once you understand what Google Plus is, and is not, you will be able to harness its power and make valuable business contacts.
1. No Reciprocity Required
The Google Plus social network borrows some of its core elements from Facebook and Twitter. Like Facebook, members can post content and status updates to their profile and have their content show up in other user’s newsfeeds. Unlike Facebook, Google Plus members can follow anyone they want, without requiring the person of interest to accept a friend request. Follow their posts, and reply with intelligent comments, which show your expertise in the job you are targeting.
9. Learn From Google Plus Communities
Facebook has its special groups, but you might notice that they often tend to drift into the realms of the irrelevant. The people who join Google Plus Communities tend to take things more seriously. If you are using Google Plus for Business, communities give you a chance to feel out the economic climate. If you’re using it to find a job, the information you glean can make you more marketable.
10. Google Plus is Where the Boys Are
Although statistics are constantly changing, most surveys indicate that about 64 percent of Google Plus users are male. If you have a business that focuses on products for men, you need to be on Google Plus.
