Analysts from Deutsche Bank, led by Ross Sandler, have suggested that Twitter has a huge potential when it comes to revenue growth. They have even predicted that by 2017 Twitter’s revenue would double. The team sees areas for growth both in “logged-on” and “logged-off” users. The team’s predictions are based on the revenue rise experienced by Facebook.
This comes as no surprise if we take look at recent growth. This year Twitter expects a revenue ranging from $1.2 billion to $1.25 billion, which is nearly double of last year’s revenue of $665 million.
Having in mid these numbers it’s no surprise that despite the recent transformation of Twitter’s executive ranks, the leadership of the ad-department has remained relatively untouched. Adam Bain, who is the global president of revenue and partnerships i.e. Tweeter’s lead moneyman, has had held his job for nearly four years now.
