Following months of speculation, Apple has just released details about the iPad Air 2 and the iPad mini 3. It was done unintentionally one day early and someone’s job could be at stake over this.
Although the devices were to be presented at Apple’s big event tomorrow, Mark Gurman found the two devices in the iPad User Guide for iOS 8.
According to the User Guide, which can be found online, the new devices fill feature a TouchID sensor and they look the same to their current form. Naturally, their price isn’t mentioned in the User Guide for iOS 8. It will probably be revealed tomorrow.
Perhaps it’s a coincidence, but cynics would note that the leak was discovered only minutes after Google announced its big Nexus devices and Android 5.0 OS. It’s still hard to believe that Apple could do such a coincidence, they usually don’t.
