default image

Hey there! As a DMZ expert and Warzone enthusiast, I know how valuable the right keys can be for dominating matches and walk out with the best loot. One key in particular that you should prioritize in Season 2 is the Beach Club Bathhouse Key on Ashika Island.

In this comprehensive guide, I’ll provide everything you need to know about locating the key, clearing out the bathhouse, and using it strategically. Let’s unlock secrets and claim rewards together!

Introduction to DMZ Mode: Hotzones, Keys, and Intel

Before we drop into Ashika Island, let me provide some quick background on DMZ for anyone unfamiliar with this intense extraction mode.

DMZ matches take place across different quarantined zones filled with deadly AI combatants, rare loot, and mysterious story events. Unlike traditional Battle Royale, you have a single life per match and must find valuable intel and equipment before reaching exfil.

Keys are essential because they grant access to interior locations with high-level blueprints, gear, and cash. However, keys randomly spawn each match. You’ll need to battle enemies and complete contracts to obtain them.

Once you have a key, get to its corresponding location ASAP. The bathhouse we’ll cover today provides a major early-game advantage. Now let’s get to Ashika Island and break down the details!

Pinpointing the Beach Club POI and Bathhouse

Alright, first things first – we need to locate the Beach Club point of interest. This is situated on the southeastern coast of Ashika Island at coordinate E7:

On your Tac Map, the Beach Club is marked by a small umbrella icon. It’s hard to miss since it’s one of the larger coastal POIs. The area includes a bar, pool, beach umbrellas, and scattered cabanas to loot.

However, our real target is the bathhouse just south of the main club. It‘s a single-story concrete building with showers and locker rooms. The door is gated though, requiring the Beach Club Bathhouse Key to access the interior.

Here’s a view of the club entrance with the bathhouse visible just ahead:

This relatively compact bathhouse is packed with rare loot, as we’ll see soon. Now we just need to get our hands on the key!

Obtaining the Beach Club Bathhouse Key

This special key can spawn in several locations across Ashika Island:

  • Loot containers – Check duffel bags, toolboxes, and weapon crates. I find keys in about 1 in 10 containers.

  • Eliminating AI – Standard AI have around a 5% drop rate for keys. Heavies and mini-bosses are closer to 15%.

  • Completing Contracts – Certain contracts like Intel Delivery reward keys. I‘d say around a 30% chance.

  • HVT Contract – Taking down the High Value Target nets you great loot. Keys drop about half the time.

  • Buy Stations – Check the Special tab for key purchases. The bathhouse key costs $6000.

  • Looting players – Don‘t forget to check enemy backpacks for any keys they were carrying!

Based on experience, your best bets are taking out AI, running contracts, and checking Buy Stations. Within 2 or 3 loops around the POIs you should find the bathhouse key.

Unlocking the Bathhouse and Clearing the Interior

Nice, you now have the Beach Club Bathhouse Key in your inventory! Let’s head straight down to the gated bathhouse entrance just south of the Beach Club.

Interact with the locked metal door to use your key and head inside:

Initially, you’ll want to clear out the bathhouse section by section. The locker room has 2 entrances and a central corridor of showers. Watch out for Heavy enemies and turrets!

I recommend sweeping each shower stall quickly before checking the locker room corners. Don‘t forget to check closed stalls for hidden chests. There’s also an exterior walkway to watch for flankers.

Looting the Beach Club Bathhouse Interior

Alright, time for the good stuff! Once you’ve cleared the enemies, it’s time to reap the rewards.

The locker rooms provide a jackpot of loot containers. I typically find:

  • 3-5 armor plate boxes
  • 2-3 killstreaks like UAVs
  • $20,000 – $30,000 in cash bundles
  • 5+ weapon loot crates

The central showers are also major highlights:

  • 3-4 weapon blueprint rewards
  • Rare seasonal cosmetics
  • Access card and keycard intel

Here are some of the sweet blueprints I’ve found inside:

As you can see, unlocking the bathhouse early in a match can totally change your fortunes! Now let‘s talk tactics…

Tactical Analysis: Holding the Beach Club Bathhouse

The bathhouse makes for a great temporary base if your squad holds the key. Here are some tips:

  • Place proximity or stun mines around the single entrance to alert you of pushers.

  • Have a teammate watch the exterior balcony to call out flankers.

  • The shower stalls provide good overhead concealment when holding corners.

  • With a sniper, you can lockdown the beach area and exterior walkway.

-proxoty turrets in the locker room also help secure your six.

Ideally you can loot fast then post up for a few minutes before moving to your exfil. Speaking of gear…

Ideal Loadouts to Pair With the Bathhouse

I recommend equipping these types of weapons when hitting the bathhouse:

  • SMG or shotgun for close quarters
  • Sniper rifle to counter exterior enemies
  • Gewehr 43 rifle – found in common loot here!
  • DMR like the EBR-14 to hold walkways
  • High alert and tracker perks to avoid flanks

In terms of equipment, make sure you have:

  • Heartbeat sensor to check stall corners
  • Stims for quick health regeneration
  • Proximity mine for entrance alerts
  • Gas grenade to flush out campers

Finally, an armored SUV parked out front never hurts for quick escapes or ramming enemies!

Complementary Beach Club Area Keys

While the bathhouse has amazing loot, don‘t forget about the surrounding Beach Club area!

Two other keys provide access to valuable nearby buildings:

Beach Club Security Room Key – Unlocks the office just northwest with intel spawns.

Cabaña Safe Key – Provides cash bundles from safes inside the cabins.

I try to locate all 3 keys to fully loot the beach. They are often held by the same Heavy NPCs.

Additional Notable Keys on Ashika Island

Let‘s do a quick overview of other top priority keys on the new Ashika Island map:

  • Main Harbor Control Room Key – Grants access to coastal watch room with rare weapon loot.

  • Airport Maintenace Access Key – Unlocks hangar section with high killstreak rewards.

  • Village Storage Building Key – Provides interior garage caches near Village POI.

  • Hotel Service Door Key – Allows roof access for overview of Hotel grounds.

As you explore and complete contracts, keep an eye out for all of these! The keys ultimately funnel you into engaging with the diverse POIs around Ashika Island.

Changes Coming in Warzone 2 Season 2

Beyond the new map, Season 2 brings lots of additional content to DMZ and standard Battle Royale:

  • New narrative events and Intel Missions

  • Refreshed challenges, skins, and blueprints

  • Rebalancing of loot tables, AI, and circle algorithms

  • Introduction of the new Shadow Company faction

  • Quality of life fixes around menus and pinging

I‘m excited to see how the meta evolves! The bathhouse key will continue being a top priority.

Closing Thoughts on Dominating DMZ

Well friend, that wraps up my deep dive on the invaluable Beach Club Bathhouse Key! I tried to provide lots of visual examples and tactical tips in this guide. Let me know if you have any other questions!

The keys may shuffle each match, but the strategy remains the same – locate them early to access exclusive loot. Then use your powerspike wisely. A locked door is just an obstacle between you and sweet victory.

Now get out there, find those keys, and start shaping matches in your favor. See you in deployment!
